THE SECRETS TO EDUCATIONAL SUCCESS

Today, I'll be writing about educational success, hints on how to attain a high educational height, how to be independent of your friends and how to focus on achieving your dreams. So sit down and tighten your seat belt because you are about taking a rough ride to success island.

1. SETTING A GOAL: I will consider this to be the very first step if you are to achieve anything in life, its not only in the educational aspect but also in every other aspects of life. When you set a goal for yourself, you will find out that you will do anything possible just to achieve your goals. We have many great men and women all over the world and sometimes you do wish to be like them, the truth is not only can you be like them but better and higher than them. This takes us to what is called INSPIRATION
2. INSPIRATION : to be successful in your academics, you somehow need inspiration because it's like a fuel that drives a car engine and will also act as a catalyst by boosting your interest in academics. I did have an inspiration when i was in secondary school and it happened to be my best teacher in my most hated subject. It sounds funny though but you can admit that there is that boring subject that you see as a lullaby which puts you to sleep each time you come across it. You need an inspiration during your stay in school, it can be you pastor,Councillor, teacher or your fellow student.
3. SET YOUR READING TASK: you are wondering what i mean by reading task,well its all about giving yourself a reading job which you have to deliver. By reading task, i mean setting up a kind of condition or criteria which you must fulfill before you retire to bed or wherever. For example, you can set a reading task by telling yourself that you have to read 3 chapters of a particular text before sleeping or by doing all your assignments .
4. FIND READING FUNFUL: What this means is that you shouldn't see reading as a waste of time or a boring process but as a channel for you to increase your knowledge base.
5. DEVELOPE AN ACT OF CURIOSITY TOWARDS LEARNING: The world is now a global village where you can stay at your home and receive lectures anywhere in the world through the right internet sources. Be curious to acquire new ideas and you will find yourself at the peak of success.
